Craft Club
The Rockford Park District's Outdoor Education and Recreation department invites you to our monthly Craft Club series, where we will be diving into nature-themed crafting experiences. From whittling to clay to willow weaving and so many things in between, sign up for one or several courses in this series as we learn introductory techniques for a wide variety of unique and creative activities selected to broaden your crafting horizons.

Visit Atwood
Atwood Park is open to the public for FREE everyday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. The park includes many miles of hiking and multi-use trails and is part of a former WWI military training camp.
Join us for a birds of prey feeding every Saturday at 1:00pm.

Field Trips & Education
Select from a variety of courses and activities, many of which embrace the classic and nostalgic spirit of camp! Some of our activities include archery, low-rope courses, campfires with songs and s’mores, and more!
Choose your program length and time of day. Program options include: Half-day, Full-day, All But the Bunks, Birds of Prey Show, and Reptile Show.
